Where we come from

Stepling was established in 2014 by Philippe Bidaud with the purpose of providing innovative, practical, and bespoke M&A services to the European real estate industry. We pride ourselves on the creative approach we take to traditional real estate.

Based in Paris, our team has decades of experience on the buy, sell, and advisory-sides of transaction execution, financing, and asset management. We have executed over €3 billion in transaction volume across 31 deals.

Stepling’s pan-European experience and multicultural team allows us to be effective across multiple geographies and a wide spectrum of property types with many different real estate players.

We are proud to be a historical operating partner of MARK (formerly known as Meyer Bergman), a privately held real estate management fund with a portfolio of more than €9.6 bn in assets.

We manage the positive social impact fund Mark Paris Urban Regeneration (MPUR), targeting €750 m in assets under management over the next three years. MPUR seeks to restructure, extend and convert well-located but obsolete or underutilised buildings into prime commercial spaces with unrivalled ESG credentials across Paris.
